I do apologize for the lack of japery and fiction, semi or otherwise, this week; I’ve spent every day visiting doctors and dentists up and down the Palm Coast. (Thanks, Obama!) Soon, I will be healthy and will get back to whatever the fuck it is I do around here.
Until then, rediscover The Faces.
Phew…thought thoughts on the dead was dead. Feel better, bruh.
Godspeed my friend.
I learned to avoid such misery at all costs by listening to the Jazz Butcher, and steering clear of opportunities for oral butchery . . .

(Feel better!!!)
P.S. I read Kenney Jones’ autobio a couple of months ago. It was a good one.
Two things are true at the same time: Ron Wood is an insanely underrated guitar player; two, Rod Stewart is more talented than anyone in Gen X wants to admit.
I woulda seen the Hucknall Faces if they had done the States. With McLagan gone, I don’t know if Woody, Rod & Kenny will ever tour.
And yeah, when Rod was young he was a bad, soul-singin’ mutherfucker. Chris Robinson owes his whole act to early Rod.
+1 on the Rod and Woody love. Them’s was good, once upon a time. I feel mean saying it, but did not much care for the other Ronnie’s songs and singing, RIP, etc.
Sending good vibes, ToTD. Wish I had more to offer than that.
