Electric Miles!!!
The 73-75 Miles Davis material is some of my all time favorite music. The seated guitarist, Pete Cosey, is simply a liquid bitch on guitar. The bass player, Michael Henderson, was Aretha’s touring bassist before Miles plucked him. Him & Al Foster are so in the pocket along with rhythm guitarist, Reggie Lucas. he later produced Madonna’s first LP. This is from the Dark Magus/Get Up With It period as the band has a 3 guitar lineup Dominique Gaumont. Dave Liebman is the Ron Bykowski of the group. I like the Sonny Fortune material better though Liebman is probably a more versatile player Here is a great clip from late 73 after Dominique Gaumont left

The tablas player, Badal Roy, lived in my home town. He ran a travel agency in NYC during the day. Super nice guy.
