What do I not know about Vimeo?

It’s just bush league. Can’t embed videos properly, and the search function is useless. Plus, the name is stupid.

Watching / listening on a laptop with headphones I couldn’t figure out what that godawful shrill buzzsaw sound was. Located it in the left channel and realized it was what Bobby thought to be a “good” guitar tone. Coupled with an amazing clam from Phil (coincidentaly right when the feed was on him) around 0:25 you can see why Jerry gave Mickey a “what the fuck, man?” look at 0:29.

Vince sure loved that brass sound…

Which keyboard player more closely resembles Larry Fine?

“I love what Welnick does on this tune,” said nobody ever.

I’m going to dispute that a little. Sure, this doesn’t displace the 12-30-78, 4-22-79 or 10-25-79 versions as potential-best-EVAR, but…
I really like the Jerry MIDI here.
I think he’s really enjoying what both keyboard players are laying down.
I think that there’s as much Vince as Bruce.
So, yeah, I enjoyed what Welnick does with his hands and his voice. YMMV.
