Musings on the Most Ridiculous Band I Can't Stop Listening To

Reading Material

You may be stuck at home, but you could always take a drive over the Segovian Hills to a neighborhood in America. The first Little Aleppo novel, unedited and messy and free your enjoyment. Just stay away from the Armadillo Lounge; nothing good happens in that place.

I probably think about this novel and its characters/scenes more than I do any other novel I’ve read in the past half-dozen years. Newer TotD Enthusiasts who might have missed it first time around are truly, sincerely encouraged to give it a go. Masterful good fun, and a bevy of compelling characters that you’ll really care about, deeply, as the thing unspools. (Some of those characters appear here too, the Semi-Fictional GD Universe). And Little Aleppo itself is a genius piece of world-building. So get on it! Plep!

    Thank you!

  3. is it about my cube

Yes! Love Little Aleppo. I’ve been doing an Archive Dive (currently at Jan 2016), and was looking forward to hitting the first LA story. Great to have them all in one place.

How great! My archive dive started at the very beginning, and I’ve gotten to July 2014. I stalled out but have great notes that I’ve taken on my little obsessions, catch phrases I love, etc. etc.

    whatever happened to maggie?

    • Tor Haxson

Is Maggie a character in little Aleppo?

Or do you refer to Maggie the 15 year old who in 2015 disrupted the comment section with her endearing drama, her hatred of Josh Mayers, and other charms..

She is a 20 year old now, more or less the same, you can find her on twitter.

She claims to be grownup now, and it may actually be the case, honestly it is still really hard to know what she is talking about.

Not to distract anyone from Little Aleppo or TotD, but I stumbled upon this today and I think it has the potential to be a brilliant read in the months ahead for Music Nerds and Humans alike . . .

He’s on entry #4 of #64 now, so not TOO much catching up to do to stay abreast.
