Did everyone else know that Garcia played the violin? (I’m sure he would call it a fiddle, but unless you’re playing the thing while it’s cradled in your arm instead of on your shoulder, it’s a violin.)
On the acoustic guitar is Sara Ruppenthal, who was Garcia’s first wife. Garcia was married four times; this is because his early death prevented him from getting married any more. Were he still alive, he would be on wife eight or nine by now.
