If you do have to check in somewhere for a longer stay, take along an extension cord. A six footer is the minimum, a nine footer is way better. The basic kind is fine – polarized plug at one end, three outlets at the other. Make sure it is white.

I think they had people for cashing Jerry’s checks. Pretty sure had a whole bunch of ’em. Like hungry ghosts but for money, all mouth and diminishing heart, squawking like a Family of osprey babies across the bay area. More checks, Jerry, more checks; you can do it, almost there, almost there, almost – oh, no.
Miss the big guy too – that’s only damn thing could get me to seek out a Variety version of David Crosby expressing an opinion. For memories of the big guy, I’ll do it.
