20 years or so ago, friends and I used to frequent a bar in the West Village called Automatic Slim’s that never batted an eye to females dancing on the bar. One the wall was a photo of Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt & Joan Baez with a bottle of Jim Beam. Good times.
