I got Aja on right now, but will take up your rec in 30 minutes.

Play “Aja” twice. Maybe thrice. Can’t go wrong with extended “Aja”-ing. Then the Jean-Michel. He can wait. He’s French, so would be late for your summons anyway. But I love that “Equinoxe” record to pieces, so hope its noodly analog goodness works for you! When we were in Chicago, my wife got FRONT ROW TICKETS for us to see him ON MY BIRTHDAY, and it was THE BEST THING EVAR!!!!!!!! https://www.flickr.com/photos/19378052@N06/albums/72157681148003923

Thank you! Thank you for making the autumnal equinox number 1. It is.

Sure beats vernal in the places I’ve lived for the past 30+ years (Iowa, Chicago, Upstate New York, Idaho) . . . we’re usually still snowed in or (at best) in mud season when “spring” allegedly begins. I associate vernal equinox as a big fake tease, typically with my mother (South Carolina) sending me pretty pictures of azaleas and rhodedendrons and suchlike . . .

I still miss fall in the Northeast. Psychedelic trees and a nip to the air.

    Let’s not forget Styx Equinox.

    • JES

That is a very, very good Equinox, too. Well played.
