If you can find the SBD of this, which floats around, after the show there are some comments from Bill Graham about how appreciative he is of the support of the community for so many years, and how much he’s enjoyed being a part of it. It feels more than a little like a foreshadowing of sorts, since the festival was his last big project before he died exactly two months later. There’s definitely a sense of melancholy to it, at least looking back.
