I’ve heard so many glowing things about Phoebe Bridger-Walls, and I will be checking out her album after I finish re-listening to all my KISS records for the 90th time, but this…this is not a good start to our relationship. I was led to believe you were above the Sincere Acoustic Cover, Phobia Bridgerton.
Everyone stop fucking doing this. It wasn’t funny the first time, and now it bespeaks a feculence of thought.

with you.
Listened to first 20 seconds, and then a random 5 five in the middle.

This..,is…so…f—ing….earnest. His brings me back to 1994. And those so fing earnest songs from the 90s. Nope, don’t want this now.
And, yes, I’m drunk. But that doesn’t affect my opinion of this song.
So tonight, tonight, let it be Lowenbrau.
I second Mr. Haxson’s motion. Thanks
Imma put together a multi-hour playlist of sincere acoustic covers. And I’m not going to share it with any of you!
I suspect that Dave Matthews is gonna be massive in it. Not Richard Thompson, though: most everything he does is arch, IMO.
She pawned Ryan Adams prior to MeToo which counts for something if your into the diss track scene and she reminds me of Aurora Aksnes, another +. Aurora does acoustic covers too.

What is the opinion on the merits / demerits of a Sincere Acoustic Cover done by the songwriter? I’m thinking Pete Townshend doing “Pinball Wizard” or Dave Grohl doing “Everlong”
