Musings on the Most Ridiculous Band I Can't Stop Listening To

Please Help Me

Enthusiasts, I love me some Bootsy…but this might be terrible. Is this as bad as I think it is?

The words “terrible” and “Bootsy” cannot be used in the same sentence, so it’s all good. Even if it’s not.

(I went to see him at an awful muddy outdoor festival in Chicago a few years back, and it was, technically, terrible, on every front . . . but it was Bootsy, so therefore it could not be terrible, by definition, and therefore I was good).

(But I stood in the mud and reminisced about seeing him the ’70s, so that helped).

Did you listen to the song?

        But Bootsy.

What could be wrong about chucky the funky reindeer? Personally I found it groovy (although I admit only making it 2 minutes in)not as epically groovy as the 20 minute positively 4th st 12-19-79 by Jerry but pretty groovy. As Christmas albums go it’s not bad – did you hear William Shatners last year? No offence bill – much love but – wow that was terrible.

This is going to sound dodgy, because it includes a “friend of a friend”

But here it is, a friend of a friend had a recording studio in Cincinnati,

Bootsy recorded some or all of a country record in the 90’s there.

    Never released, probably rough cuts.

Bootsy has asked and hoped that those recordings have been destroyed.

So may your mind be at ease, that although this might be some bad bootsy, there is worse.
