After carefully reviewing some of what is linked in this post, and having cursorily glanced at some of the rest, I can attest that a lifetime of study would not suffice to do justice to it all. And the way these disparate elements have been welded into a coherent world view! We are in the presence of a master!
Jimi may be flashier in person, but the music does not take you anywhere close to where the staid GD take you.
