That’s some really good punchy prose there . . . the writer’s third-person, present-tense approach and apparently Hemingway-esque fear of adjectives, adverbs, and compound sentences works well for the subject matter! I was only a dozen paragraphs in and I already felt like I needed a line of toot to keep up with him . . .
It was damn fine writing. Sturdy and manly.
And I loved the one set-up/punchline about the town in Jersey DeLorean moved to. When I read that, I thought “Doesn’t some other jackass live there?” and sure enough…
At least he could keep one ball in the air.
