    Nick Cave’s version sucks. I love Nick Cave, but his version totally sucks. In fact it might be one of my least favorite songs in the entire Nick Cave catalog. I had largely forgotten he had done such an abysmal cover of it until you brought it up. We’re talking 2 decades since I thought about it. Thanks TOTD. This Wilson Pickett version is certainly cool though Lloyd Price still has the platinum standard version in my book as everybody is still trying to play it the same way:
