Musings on the Most Ridiculous Band I Can't Stop Listening To

The Ol’ Infield Shift

Precarious?

“Yo.”

How is this even possible?

“Anything’s possible if you don’t give a shit hard enough.”

It’s astonishing.

“We got used to it.”

Evidently. Are the lights in the wrong place?

“Nah, they love it there.”

What’s Mrs. Donna Jean doing?

“Wandering about in an angry stupor.”

1978.

“Yup.”

Is this from the show where a fan fell off the rocks? I was about 12 when that happened. I saw my first concert at Red Rocks. It was Willie Nelson with Waylon opening. It was bad ass.

I used to see shows at the Rocks and was always terrified I’d see that happen.

How many people died at Dead shows? Serious question.

There was the parachutist who lit himself on fire at Watkins Glen. Technically, he came down during the Allmans set.

I believe the answer is zero. By “at” is meant “inside the venue – had a ticket and gave it to the ticket taker and was inside”, and not “outside the building, in the parking lot, standing across the street, listening on the radio, etc”.

This from an old Planet of the Apes cartoon, no?
