  Last year when I volunteered at camp I requested to be with a specific counselor because he was a huge Deadhead and we bonded on that so hard. He was also REALLY Jewish and REALLY liberal and loved South Park and TDS/Colbert Report and he omitted the “under God” part of the pledge of allegiance in the mornings and flipped shit when he noticed I did that too. at the boarding gate on a recent flight, a Duddelner told me his story about being at summer camp (he was 15 yrs) and sitting shiva when Jerry died. very moving, we both hugged…….then we were tasered.
