Speaking of anarchy, the difference between a major key and a minor one is dependent on the copyist’s whims: notes are notes, and they can be put in any order.
Schoenberg was one of the names Phil always threw around, and the word “atonal” gets applied to him, but that’s just Music Theory nerds writing articles for newspapers.
Good music is good music, and music that sounds like the soundtrack from an imaginary Dracula movie directed by Kubrick is good enough for me.

This is crazy talk.. Notes are more than notes Man..
Notes are carrier waves that information is passed from the band to the audience and from the audience to the band..
Go for the Webern next. The student surpassed the teacher, in my opinion.

I got to see Alban Berg’s “Wozzeck” performed by Chicago Lyric Opera few weeks ago. Amazing stuff of a similar stripe, with a shockingly prescient text to accompany it. I also second the Webern nod.
Nice! I’m also a huge Webern fan, and highly recommend his music to any and all people reading this.

That article seems to be in the key of Prank.
