It’s A Song About Maxie

Go ahead. Try to get it out of your head. I fucking dare to. This song sticks in there like love-sick velcro.

The album ‘tease me’ is great! 8 uk hits on one album ‘Tracy’ ‘tease me’ and of course ‘one nation under a groove’ for your funkadelic theme. Toots is fantastic in concert and lp. Don’t miss the album toots did with all the guest artists from the early 2000’s which doesn’t appear to be on Spotify alas so I don’t remember the title. I got a toots tape from Santa Cruz 1976 that’s pretty good too. Didn’t know he played winterland too.

O.k. Enthusiasts, the toots album is called ‘true love’ and among many outstanding tracks is ‘funky kingston’ by toots, boots (ie) and the Roots. Trey is on there too , and Willie (heard him do his song at farm aid)
