- OMIGOD how good is Skunk Baxter’s hair?
- Was Donald Fagen actually fuckable?
- Did the singer wander in from a production of Pippin?
- Would The Dan have been more popular with a Bobby in the group?

1. It’s GREAT! He and early Steve Hackett were the real masters of the glasses, ‘stache and center part hairdos among widdly guitarists.
2. Uncertain. Need to check with Libby Titus . . .
3. No, but he wandered out to write lyrics for Carole King, so that’s close.
4. Having a Bobby generally makes everything better, so . . . yessssss??? But would his guitarin’ powers have been hampered by having TWO endless soloists on stage with him? If so, I guess he could have just handsomed things up (SIGNIFICANTLY!), for the win.
(I’m glad the Dan is offering fine musical distraction between calls from Medicine and visits to Poison).
The camera choice is inexplicably on the wrong guitarist for so many of the solos..
Like.. ouch, can we get the other camera feeds please.
It’s tragic how little video footage there is of early live Dan.
SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!
Oh, also, I feel obligated to make my standard plug that the best non-Donald singer in the Dan was drummer Jim Hodder, by a long shot. Dig “Midnite Cruiser” from the debut, and the sooper dooper rare “Dallas,” which I adore, even thought Becker/Fagen long denied/suppressed its existence (Poco covered it, so that probably explains things) . . . I had to get a weird expensive import 4-song EP to score it circa “Aja” years . . .

Gary Lambert wore a Denny Dias tshirt on one of the Shakedown Stream preshows. Pretty obscure.
Also, Walter is playing a really cool looking P/J hybrid.
