I will vouch for this book. It’s pretty much a Materialist (neo-Marxist) critique of late 20th century showbiz. Indispensable.
Too little attention is paid, by the way, to the Tosches article (in Unsung Heroes) where he asserts that Elvis’s dead twin actually lived and even released some singles.
Wow. There was a market for a Hall and Oates biography?
