    Oooo, that’s good!

I had been listening to the first few Gang of Four albums and EPs lately after Andy Gill died a few weeks back . . . And they have proven to be a weirdly, oddly perfect soundtrack for the goings on of late, a weird mix of economics and propaganda and end of days rhapsodizing, all with a good beat you can dance to, e.g.

We Live As We Dream, Alone
    He’ll Send In the Army
    Not Great Men
    Damaged Goods
    At Home He’s a Tourist
    Paralyzed
    What We All Want
Outside The Trains Don’t Run On Time
    Muscle for Brains
    It Is Not Enough
    Life! It’s A Shame
    The History of the World

    Etc. Etc. Etc.

Recommended for the isolation chambers . . . . heavy spins here on the iPod as I walk the empty streets of St Pete, talking to herons and avoiding humans . . .

No shit, man. Virtual elbow bump sent your way, with thanks for keeping the smart and funny coming. (Don’t listen to italics guy. I would love to see DO and DON’T as the psychotic grown-up Goofus and Gallant for our times).
