I’m always calling these guys sucky even though I love them with all of my body, so I’ll say that I think the Grateful Deads were a bit chin’ blues band around ’70-72.
After that Pig died and the guitars became hi-fi and Bobby never played the root anymore and it never sounded legit again and oh look, he’s gonna open with Walkin’ again… yaaaay.
