I’ve seen a few pics of the Grateful Dead’s only visit to my hometown — in the year I was born, no less — but this one is new to me. PLEASE share any others you have. I need a dose of home right about now, and seeing the place I know and love best in The Narrative is so, so cool for me.

And scroll down to the list of pavilions and click youth pavilion you will see a couple cool high res photos of grateful dead playing and Jefferson airplane playing with the dead watching. I’ve seen others of them strolling around the grounds but not this one of Pigpen. 50 million people attended the expo that summer, is had a huge cultural impact on Canada.
