saw Terrapin Flyer recently, they put on some great shows and Melvin is a sweet, kind, gentleman. the first time, the opening act was Tony Magee’s (Lagunitas Brewery) band. He’d hooked up with a killer rhythm section from Chicago, where he’d spent some time building a brewery there. Tony’s band was fun, and he bought quite a few rounds for everyone. the second time TF played, the Pranksters rolled in and did their thing. lots of boogie-in’ and chooglin’.
there’s the man < btw give it for LeadBelly < never knew he did “Black Betty” < dang oppressive white folk
I’m thinking 4 Phils and I’m pretty sure that Melvin has lost weight.
