This sounds like a put down, but that’s not what I mean: Jerry really made the frumpy Middle Earth creature thing work. Don’t mean to be judgmental, cause I’m a slightly lumpy, average-looking white dude at best, but I’ve thought more than once that he knew how to make the best out of what he was given.
It’s like going bald with dignity: Nearly any action taken will just make things worse.
But he didn’t have to be frumpy! ’75 Garcia? That Garcia has so much sexy!
He just needed the beard and to stay as slim as was possible for him.
Agree, but I don’t think slim is an absolute requirement. To me, semi-clean ’86-88 Jer has it working too. Reasonable haircuts, appears to be showering regularly, still wearing pants that don’t include elastic.
